Training in Agriculture and allied subjects:
A
chain of livelihood trainings like mushroom
cultivation, Honey , pickle making, silk worm
training, tree plantation, chicken farm, pig farm,
agriculture etc are regularly conducted for our
sponsored families at local and district level. We
also take support of “Krishi Vighyan Kentra” (Govt.
Training Centers) to educate our families with the
knowledge of Agricultural and livestock farming. The
expertise from agricultural scientist does increase
the skill of families. Staffs coordinate and
communicate the training requirements with the
officials.
The chief objective of promoting such activities is
to Strengthen Rural Livelihood. The families
should lead a decent life meeting all the basic
requirements of the family by relying less on the
CFCA benefits over a span of time. CFCA has the
privilege to work with the families for about 10 to
15 years. During this prolonged period of
intervention, we want to ensure that family achieves
economic self sufficiency and is self-reliant.

In rural area, tailoring is a level of
skilled work through which housewives can have
access to decent earnings, so we initiated village
level tailoring training for the mothers who were
interested to learn. Villagers go too far away town
to get stitched their children's school uniform and
other dresses. The thin presence of tailoring
workforce at villages making way for our mothers to
enrich their skill in tailoring so as to capture the
ever demanding market.
Skills
and knowledge are the driving
forces of economy growth and social development.
Enabling the women folk towards skill development
like tailoring, fish farm, craft, flour mill, animal
husbandry, silk worm etc help them to fetch steady
income to raise their children and meet their
educational expenses. With these initiatives
we are hoping in future that we will be able to
train many more mothers in such skill oriented
livelihoods depending on the area and/ market
demand.
